The Guilford Model Congress club was created to help provide the students of Guilford County better understand how the American government works. The GMC staff are dedicated to providing a successful, interactive, and of course educational experience for the students who choose to participate in our conference.  Here is some basic information about the conference.

  • The conference is set for March 9th from 9am-3pm and March 10th from 9am-6:15pm
  • The registration fee is $10.
  • There are 100 slots available for the conference.
  • The conference is open to 7th-11th graders in Guilford County.
  • Students apply with their school. If a student's school is not participating in the conference but he or she would like to please contact Stephen Padgett by February 13th.
  • To make communication with GMC staff easier it is recommended that schools designate one faculty member to be the faculty advisor of your schools delegation.
