Orchestra Supply List:

ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE:

Rosin
Cleaning cloth (Daily cleaning of the instrument is essential. Rosin can build up on the finish and ruin the value and the sound of the stringed instrument).
Pencil

VIOLIN AND VIOLA PLAYERS MUST HAVE:

Shoulder rest (I recommend the Kun or Viva brands, available in your size of instrument. 6th graders may use a purple sponge, available at any music store).

CELLO PLAYERS:

End pin rock (You need to purchase an end pin rock. Moore Music has the Xeros brand of anchor. It is an adjustable strap, anchored under the chair on one end with a metal anchor on the other end so that the cello endpin does not move).
