Reading

Some of the many skills to be reviewed are:

*Cause and Effect

*Sequence

*Text Relevancy

*Text Features

*Identifying Reliable Sources

*Narrator and Character Point of View

Students will have homework Monday through Thursday night weekly in Reading. 

Spelling

In Spelling, students will be given a list weekly unless others stated. The weekly schedule often follows this structure:

Monday- Sort your words into their groups and write in your journal.

Tuesday-  Varies

Wednesday- Varies

Thursday- Study for Test on Friday

Writing

Students will practice writing skills, including, content, and conventions in all subject areas. Almost if not all intense writing assignments will be done in the classroom.
