1)  Q What are the differences between a Middle College, Early College and an Early/Middle College?
A

All three are small, unique high schools on college campuses. Usually a middle college is for upper classmen and an early college begins with freshmen. An early/middle college attempts to meet the needs of both populations of students. Our focus at the Early/Middle College @ GTCC-GSO (E/M College) is first generation college students and students who would benefit from small classes in a unique learning environment.

Students who are interested in pursuing transferable college credits and career training courses on a college campus are encouraged to apply.
3)  Q How do I apply?
A

The application period for the 2010-2011 school year has ended. Applications received prior to the the March 2010 deadline are currently under review. Applications received after the deadline will be kept in a holding pool and reviewed only as openings comes available.

4)  Q How will students be selected?
A
After reviewing transcripts and applications, the Middle College at GTCC Greensboro staff will conduct student interviews to determine if this school is the best option for each student.
