Answers
1)  Q Will I have homework every night?
A
Probably not, though your homework assignments are to be used as a review tool of what material was covered in class that day. Homework will be collected and count towards your final grade
2)  Q What is the classroom policy for making up missed assignments?
A
Make-up Work
Students are responsible for all work missed when absent from school.
Immediately upon returning to school students must make arrangements with their teacher(s) to make up all work (assignments, tests, projects, etc.) missed while absent.
3)  Q Does it matter if my absence is excused or not? Will I still be able to make up the work?
A
Yes. I feel everyone should be given a chance to makeup their missed work.
4)  Q Does my attendance (or lack of) in this class affect my eligibility for playing a sport?
A
Absolutely! A student must have been in daily attendance 85% of the previous semester. Daily absences, excused or unexcused, can not be made up for purposes of athletic eligibility.
5)  Q What about my grade in here? Can that determine whether or not I can play on a team?
A
Yes. A student in a 4 x 4 block schedule (which is what we are) must pass 3 out of 4 courses for the semester immediately prior to the semester of participation.
