What time does school begin and end?

  Students may enter the building at 7:20.The tardy bell rings at 7:45.Dismissal begins at 2:20.

Are snacks provided for the children?

  Teachers do not provide snacks for the class.  We have many students this year with food allergies. Teachers are aware and will decide how snacks will be handled in their classroom.

Do we have staggered entry or do all children start on the first day?

All children start on August 25^th.

If my child is a car rider, can we park and walk him to class each day?

  The first day of school is fine. Kindergarten is a time for learning independence. Independence is evaluated on the kindergarten report card. The student cannot receive satisfactory (3) or above (4) for their independence if parents are walking them to class.

Will the kids have homework? How will we be informed of our children’s assignments?

  Yes, kindergarten will have homework. Assignments are sent by email (or a paper copy in the homework folder if needed) on Mondays. Homework will be discussed at parent night also.
