I am very excited to be teaching at Southwest Elementary School again this year!  I have been working for Guilford County Schools for 13 years.  This is my tenth year of teaching.  Before becoming a teacher, I was a teacher assistant for 2 years and took a year off to intern, student teach, and complete an interim position.  I have been married for 8 years and have 2 beautiful boys, 6 year old Carson, and 3 year old Blake.  I have lived in North Carolina all of my life and moved to High Point from Browns Summit in 2004.  I enjoy shopping, decorating, organizing, and spending time with my family.  I am looking forward to a wonderful 2012-2013 school year!
