![]() We welcome your feedback on how to improve our school and your child's education. One way to give your input is to contact the elected School Based Leadership Team Parent Representatives. Any of the representatives can be contacted by clicking on the names below. There is a "Parent Comment" box in the office. If you are unable to communicate with your representatives, you may call the school and leave a message for one of them to call you back. |
The School Based Leadership Team (SBLT) typically meets the 3rd Thursday of each month. Staff members and parent representatives are elected to serve on SBLT. This team is the guiding body for the school with regard to decision making. All items for discussion in SBLT must relate to concerns that affect instruction, safety, and or welfare of students and staff at our school. Personnel issues are not topics for discussion at SBLT. Concerns with individuals or other staff members should be handled one on one with that person or through conversation with the principal. Also, if an issue can be solved most efficiently by directly working with the principal, it should not be saved for the team meeting. Members of the team will take back information to their grade level/department and committee. · Concerns will be presented to the team, "voted" on or taken back to teams, then "voted" on by SBLT. · One time to revisit issues. If a consensus is not reached using first to five, the issue will be revisited and then if no consensus, a majority rules vote will be taken. · Forms will be in the workroom for staff to write concerns and place in the chairman's or any leadership rep's box. |
