Hello, my name is Jamie Simmons. I wanted to introduce myself to my new second grade parents. First I have been married for eleven years and have a five year old girl.  She begins her kindergarten career at Jefferson this year. We are all very excited! We are excited to be in our home town raising Gracie! I enjoy volleyball, going to the gym, shopping, reading, and of course spending time with my family.  My teaching experience includes teaching at Bugg Elementary A+ multiple intelligence magnet as well as teaching here at Jefferson. This is now my seventh year of teaching, and I am enjoying every minute. Teaching is my passion and I look forward to many years in this profession. I graduated from UNCG while interning at Parkview A+ here in Guilford County Schools. I was also an ACES Director while I was achieving my undergrad at UNCG. I served in ACES at Hunter Elementary and Erwin Montessori. I look forward to another great year at Jefferson!
