Multiple Intelligence theory is based on Howard Gardner's Theory of the Multiple Intelligences. They are Visualization (Art Smart), Mathematical-Logical (Math Smart), Naturalist (Nature Smart), Intrapersonal (People Smart), Interpersonal (Self Smart), Musical (Music Smart), Kinesthetic (Body Smart), Linguistic (Word Smart). Using Howard Gardner's theory, I as the teacher am able to challenge and motivate all types and styles of learners. Through out the year we will create projects and centers based on all of the intelligences. For the new year we have begun a new venture into our study of using multiple intelligences in the classroom. The students are beginning to recognize for themselves their areas of strength and how we are using the intelligences in the classroom. It is exciting to have the students describe how they are using the multiple intelligences in our class! Come in and check it out!
