- Shirts are to be tucked in at all times.
- If garment has belt loops you must wear a belt through the loops.
- Clothing must be clean, no rips/tears, hemmed and worn as designed (no rolled up/rolled under pant legs).
- No decorative adornments on clothing. Ex: extra stitching, decorative pocket flaps, beads, tear offs, holes, etc.
- Clothing must be worn so as not to be a distraction. Ex: no tight, low-cut or immodestly open shirts, hip-hugging or tight fitting pants/skirt/shorts/skorts.
- Visible undershirts/tank tops, etc. must not be larger, nor sleeves longer than outer shirt and must be in SMOD shirt colors.
- Outerwear will not be worn in the classroom.
All students are expected to follow and maintain the AMS Standard Mode of Dress policy. Students will be viewed as non-compliant for repeated Standard Mode of Dress (SMOD) violations.
Consequences will be administered accordingly. |
