1/31/09: Several things- 1. We have 64 students at the Power Objectives Help sessions today! Thank you parents and students for being so dedicated. 2. The bridge on High Point Rd between Vickrey Chapel Rd and Jamestown is scheduled to close Feb 2 at 10 am and remain closed almost a year. Please help your student drivers start earlier to school and to find a safe path to drive to school. I am concerned about the additional traffic on Harvey Road because of buses, rerouted GTCC and Ragsdale students, and others. There is only a blinking light at the intersection of Harvey and Vickrey Chapel so if students drive that way to school, please encourage, threaten, whatever it takes, to get them to exercise extreme caution and patience at the blinking light as they pull out into oncoming traffic. START EARLIER!!! 3. Attached is the information regarding the bridge RE: High Point Road (SR 4121), Both Directions, in Jamestown, Guilford County NOTIFICATION DATE: January 16, 2009 ACTIVITY DATE: Monday, February 2, 2009 - Thursday, December 31, 2009 ACTIVITY: On the activity dates indicated above, High Point Road will be closed to traffic in both directions at the railroad bridge near Vickery Chapel Road.
