Dear Weekly Note People:
Attendance Make-up Time for those students over the limit in attendance - Due to the inclement weather and the stress associated with attendance make-up time and exams, and the unknown yet to come before exams are over, students who needed to make up time DO NOT have to make up time and will not receive the 65 related to attendance - "Our gift to you!" You will receive the grade you have earned in the class. We ask that you spend your time preparing for your exams instead of worrying about attendance.

Dear Parents,
As you may have noticed, the construction signs are up at Ragsdale and work has begun on Phase 1 of the 2008 School Bond project. Phase I includes road widening along Vickrey Chapel Road and installation of a sprinkler system in the old Jamestown Middle School. Construction documents for Phase 2 of the project are being reviewed by permitting agencies while the design and construction management firms finalize development of bid packages.
You have probably heard about the discussions taking place within Guilford County regarding the construction bond projects. The Joint Budget Committee of the Guilford County Board of Education and Guilford County Board of Commissioners met last week to discuss the status of the projects. Both the Board of Education and County Commissioners plan to continue their discussions at their upcoming meetings and retreats.
