Suggested Activities for Final Exam Review Tutorial Hours:

 

(Remember, you may NOT use time spent on current unit homework/studying or creating your foldable for your tutorial hours for your incentive contract)

Be sure to have your reference tables handy when studying!!

  • Reviewing and Practicing (reworking) questions from previous packets, tests, quizzes, and handouts posted on the classroom website
  • Practice a variety of activities with the periodic table (p+, n0, e-, isotope notation, periodic trends, ion charges, atomic number, mass number, valence electrons, electron configurations, etc.
  • Playing Chemistry Review Games (or similar) in the classroom
  • Quizzing a friend with topics from previous units
  • Spend 15 minutes a day reviewing vocabulary & scientists (in the unit packets and the final exam review handout), read chapter summaries,  and the glossary in your textbook (pick a page or two a night)
  • Spend time with the reference tables (list topics in them, know page location of information and how to use the units for constants, etc.
  • Complete the Cumulative Odyssey Review Assignment (required documentation must be submitted)
