Students need to know their vocab 1st, 2nd and 3rd section (meaning/gender/spelling) In addition to the listening and reading students will need to produce 3 different writing. Possibilities are : dialogue - letter - paragraph - list. Students need to apply all content that we have being working on so far: Numbers up to 20(with correct spelling) SP(order/meaning) ERverbs(SP/stem/endings) positive and negative sentences(ne...pas) bridge words(et/mais/ou) 2 verbs in a sentence(V1+V2) adverbs in a sentence(aussi/surtout)and...that's all...that is a lot!  I encourage students to study this coming week-end. We will also do a project page this coming Monday to help them with the writing process.

We've learned so much with our foldable about the French history, the French Revolution  and also we know where are all French speaking Countries around the world. Students enjoy to learn very much.

We had our quiz and some students received a star.

Now we are learning about cultural facts. What makes a French person ? ask you child to tell you all about French food - habits - hunting was their favorite part. What does a French person likes to hunt during Fall ? <des escargots> of course!!! what else? We will finish today our cultural part and will have a HW: quiz about <La culture francaise> on Monday 9/27.

Help your child review his notes so he can be a star student ! They absolutely love when they receive a STAR !!!

I was absent for Professionnal Development with Guilford County School. Students worked in pair on some assignments. I will try to have the same sub when I need to be absent, she did a fantastic job and speaks French.

We went over French sounds, combination of letters making another sound then the basics. We are still working on it we went from A to E and will continue to learn new French sounds, this is very important for the reading process and HW is for students to review the alphabet AND the new sounds they have learn each day (at least 5 to 10mn).
