Class of 2011 - By the Numbers



• Approximately 5,100 graduates will receive their diploma from GCS.
 
• 29 graduation ceremonies are held during a five-week period.
 
• The Class of 2011 earned $120,800,316 in scholarships, an increase of $10 million from last year’s graduating class.

• Graduates garnered 3,626 academic scholarships and 164 athletic scholarships.
 
• 440 graduates earned the district’s Service-Learning Exemplary Award. Students must have committed 50 hours in their senior year to earn the award.

• Seniors recorded 33,537 hours of service-learning experience this year.

• More than 50 staff members at the Greensboro Coliseum and 65 GCS staff members help to organize graduations at schools and at the Greensboro Coliseum.
