8th Grade French 1B
Welcome to Southeast Middle School and 8th grade French! French 1B is only available to students who took French 1A in 7th grade. Students who make a passing grade in both the 7th and 8th grade French courses receive one high school credit for French I and can then take French II when they go to high school. French 1B also has a final exam which counts as 20% of their yearly grade and covers the material learned in both French 1A and 1B.
Our focus and primary goal is learning how to communicate in French. This means listening, speaking, writing, and reading. Our activities, games, classwork and homework will all work towards this goal.
