We have three class bloggers that will be sharing what is going on in school each week. Please take time to read, you will learn some great information about our class.

Today in class we worked on mode, range, median and mean. We are also writing about what we are thankful for. We are starting to work on using calculators. HAVE A HAPPY THANKGIVING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are starting to work on area and perimeter. Our student council person is Kierra. We are still accepting PTA members. Our class bloggers are Cayla, Simone, and Brooke; our librarians are Caleb, and Noe; our secretaries are Joanna and Yaquelin- all of these people will be doing this job for 2 weeks. We are having a great time in class ! Cayla

Today in Mrs. McCune’s class the whole class started on guided reading at 8:00. At 9:00 we started on whole group reading.

At 10:00 we went to a rehearsal for the Annie Jr. play, at 10:45 we came back from rehearsal and started math and snack. We worked on mode, median, range and we started a new thing called mean. At 11:30 we started I.E. During I.E. we worked on long division, and some people were able to work on math on the computer. At 12:15 we started our second math block for the whole class. At 12:55 we went to lunch for a half an hour. When we came from lunch we went back to class and packed up for the day, then we went to our whole school play People said we were terrific! After the play we went back to the class room and Mrs. McCune read out loud for ten minutes. When she was reading me, Brooke, Simone, and Cayla went to the computer and started typing for our class blog. When Mrs. McCune was done we lined up and left.

In reading we are working on context clues, please work with you’re child on context clues! We have no school November23-25. We are starting to work on area and perimeter. We had a great time November 21 at the music show; every one did a great job! Please talk to your child about talking in class when they do not need to; we are having problems with this!!! We are having a good time with jobs each week. We switch each week!!! Please make sure your child is bringing his/hers homework every day!!!! On Monday we have art.
