AIG Add-On Licensure Through a partnership between Guilford County Schools (GCS) and High Point University (HPU), GCS teachers can complete the four courses leading to a NC AIG Add-On License at a fraction of the cost. A minimum number of participants is required to form a cohort. For teachers participating in a cohort, HPU reduces their normal tuition and fees. GCS splits the remainder with the participating teacher so that his or her out of pocket expense is about one-third of the normal cost to complete the course work for NC AIG Add-On Licensure. All courses are online and are completed in 4 semesters. The next cohort begins Fall 2013. Interested teachers must apply to HPU's evening degree program by August 1, 2013. Application must be completed online and can be found by following this link: https://www.highpoint.edu/apply/edp/
