WALTER HINES PAGE HIGH SCHOOL
ADVANCED PLACEMENT RENAISSANCE PROGRAM

BEST OF ALL POSSIBLE WORLDS”

The Page AP Renaissance Program is based on the belief that high school students need to explore a variety of opportunities to develop their strengths and discover new interests. Our program advocates rigorous academics that are carefully balanced with opportunities that encourage students to become well-rounded individuals. The program highlights the development of the seven types of intelligence, through Pre-AP and AP courses, leadership skills, community service and elective courses.

FRESHMEN PRE-AP QUICK START

Qualified freshmen go directly into our Pre-AP Program, which incorporates courses from each of the core disciplines. In this program, teachers use specific strategies to develop the skills essential to perform at an AP level. Two unique opportunities found only at Page are the Pre-AP Civics/ AP Government combination and the Physics First Program.Participants will find involvement in the Advanced Placement Program both rewarding and challenging. Physics First students are exceptionally well prepared to succeed in both AP Science and Math courses. Our pro-active PTSA helps freshmen adjust to high school through the transition program.
