Northwest High School and Western High School Night at Kernodle for 8th Grade Parents - TUESDAY NIGHT - Feb. 9 - 6:30 PM
Parents of 8th graders, come and learn more information about what to expect at Northwest High School or Western High School for next school year. This event will take place in the Kernodle mutlipurpose room and commons area on Tuesday, February 9 at 6:30 PM. Counselors will be covering information about the High School Curriculum, College/Career Preparation, and details about transcripts, GPA, etc.

Good evening, this is a recorded message from Jeff Uhlenberg, principal of Kernodle Middle. I am really hoping this coming week will be a full week of school. There are several events I'd like to remind you of.
Our make-up basketball game will be away this Monday evening at Northwest Middle. The make up wrestling is a home match this Monday evening starting at 4:45 pm. Also, please remember that there is a Central Region town hall meeting with Dr. Terry Worrell at 7:00 pm on Monday evening at Guilford Elementary.
Very important for our 8th graders, this Tuesday at 6:30pm we will have staff from Northwest High and Western High at Kernodle to share about high school registration.
On Thursday, if you've signed up for the PTA parent workshop on Internet Safety and Sexting, don't forget that doors open at 5:45 PM and dinner will be served. The program will begin promptly at 6:15 PM. Don't forget there will be great door prizes and child care is provided.
Last, we have a fun event this Friday, February 12. We will be playing our annual staff versus students basketball in the gym at 4:45pm.
