McIver PTA will participate in the Human Race on April 13, 2013. Please consider contributing to this fundraising effort. Monies raised are used to fund classroom materials, staff development, community based instruction and many other "extras" that enchance our student's school experience. McIver PTSA 

We believe family involvement is crucial to our students' progress and for networking families who share similar challenges.  Our PTSA participates in the Human Race as their primary fundraiser, and uses that money to sponsor family fun events such as a Fall Festival, hot dog dinners, a holiday musical program, and parent training workshops.

In addition, the PTSA provides funding to support other school events, such as our prom, graduation, student-run coffee shop, refreshments for staff and parent workshops, and staff appreciation activities.  The support families gain from each other through their involvement in the PTSA helps them navigate community resources and provides like-minded encouragement.
