 I am excited to begin the 2012-2013 school year and I look forward to teaching second grade this year. This year I will be starting my 33rd year of teaching. I have had the opportunity to teach Kindergarten, First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth grades. In addition, I've taught K-1 and 2-3 combination classes. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and a Masters of Education in Reading from UNCG. I am currently Nationally Board Certified as an Early Childhood Generalist.Family is very important to me. I am one of nine children and grew up in Washington, Iowa. I have two sons and a daughter-in-law. Brent and Heather live in Charlotte with their two dogs, Cali and Cooper. Patrick also lives in Charlotte and enjoys the the city life. |
