The Guilford County Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. in the Board Room of the Administrative Offices, 712 N. Eugene St., Greensboro, NC.

During the meeting, the board will hear reports on bowling leagues for students, the proposed 2011-12 traditional academic calendars and Race to the Top. The board will recognize the Employee of the Month, Volunteer of the Month and teacher Rebecca Pearce, who was selected as a State Finalist for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching Program.
