Background I am originally from Kinston, NC. During my undergraduate career, I attended North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University as a NC Teaching Fellow and received my BS in Chemistry Education. I taught middle school science and math for several years at Welborn Academy of Science and Technology in High Point, NC. When Welborn initially became a Science and Technology School I served as its Science and Technology Magnet Coordinator. I have also worked as a Mission Possible Specialist and an Assistant Magnet Program Director. From 2009-2011 I attended the University of NC at Greensboro as a NC Principal Fellow and completed my Masters of School Administration. During the 2010-2011 school year I served as a full-time, full-year principal intern at Pearce Elementary School. In 2011 I joined the Montlieu family as Assistant Principal and this is my second year at "The Best School in Guilford County". |
