Students at Summerfield Elementary have access to computers in their classrooms, the library and the computer lab. Classes visit the computer lab for 40-minute time blocks on a rotating basis. Teachers may sign up for additional computer lab time to allow their classes to work on projects.

Students learn about keyboarding, word processing, internet navigation and internet safety as they work in the computer lab.  Students use various educational programs and many approved websites to support their grade-level curriculum studies.
