Your student's junior year is critical to creating post-secondary opportunities. Each day I send out the SAT Question of the Day for every 3rd block teacher to present to their classes. I also have FREE access codes for the College Board's Online SAT course. Every Homeroom was surveyed for interest in receiving access codes and access codes have been distributed. If your student did not requested an access code, please have them see me and I will give them an access code. The PSAT will be given on October 14 to all Juniors and Sophomores. The National Merit Scholarship program is driven from juniors' PSAT scores. Prep materials will be distributed the last week of September - first week of October. Please have your students review this information prior to taking the PSAT on the 14th. To register for the SAT, go to www.collegeboard.com. Test administration dates and registration deadlines are posted on their website. Students who receive free or reduced lunches are eligible for fee waivers.
