Mitzi Graves – Counselor

I have worked as a school counselor for 18 years, seven at Weaver Academy and 11 at Asheboro High School. I completed both my four-year degree in Secondary English Education and my Masters in School Counseling at Appalachian State University. I earned my national boards in School Counseling through NBPTS in 2004. As a counselor, I assist students with personal, social, career, college, and scheduling issues. I also coordinate Weaver Academy’s scholarship program, serve as Service-Learning Coordinator, sponsor the Weaver Ambassadors, and serve on a number of committees.
