Brooks Global Extended Year School: A 2009-10 School of Excellence! |
 Brooks Global Elementary School is the first runner-up for the International Reading Association's 2009-2010 Exemplary Reading Program Award in the State of North Carolina. Brooks was recognized with a plaque at the North Carolina Reading Association's Annual Conference on March 23, 2010 at the Koury Convention Center. The IRA has been a nonprofit, global network of individuals and institutions committed to worldwide literacy. |
