Student instructional hours begin at 8:00 AM and end at 2:40 PM.
Staff hours are from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
ALL VISITORS must check in through the front office.
NO DISMISSAL of students between 2:15 – 2:40.

We hope that you will plan to come join us on Friday, November 15 from 5:30 to 7:45. There will be a variety of food and fun, which will include a pizza dinner, popcorn, a raffle, face painting, a photo booth, and cookie/cake walk, along with a variety of games. Tickets for activities and games will be on sale in the lobby as you arrive. You might also get the chance to smash a pie in the face of Ms. Beeson and a couple of your teachers…Let’s get excited!
We have planned to offer a family pizza dinner package. Package will include large pizzas, 4 drinks and a dessert. Games and activities will begin at 5:45, while the serving line for dinner will open at 5:30 and close at 7:00. Please complete your order on the bottom portion of this sheet and return it to school to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, November 13th. All checks should be made payable to Murphey PTA. You will receive your dinner tickets upon receipt of your paid order.
As a result of your help, our PTA and Student Council with helping our students and school in many ways this school year. Proceeds from this event will go towards student scholarships. Thank you in advance for making this a successful evening! See you there!

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2013 REPRESENTATIVE to VISIT MURPHEY
Students at Murphey Traditional Academy will get a lesson in civics and government from state representative, Marcus Brandon who will visit from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. He will talk with first grade students about being a community helper and with older students about the role of government and character development.
