E.P. Pearce Time Line

A unique feature at EP Pearce Elementary is our United States History Timeline.  The timeline consist of 9 unique panels and is in Memory of Leslie Dunn, the schools first Principal. Each panel represents a 50 year time span and some of the historical events that took place during that time.  Our first panel begins in 1650 and includes information about the Carolina Colony.  Another panel in our collection spans the time period of 1750-1800 and includes the famous Declaration of Independence.  The 1800-1850 panel displays important African American  history makers including Harriet Tubman and Benjamin Banneker.  Other panels include information about important events such as the Wright Brothers first flight, included on the 1900-1950 panel.  The last panel, 2000-2050 includes September 11, 2001 and the opening of EP Pearce Elementary in August 2007.  As time passes, we will continue to add additional panels for future Pearce Patriots.
