I am so excited about this school year! This is my my first year teaching at Millis Road and my seventh year of teaching. I am excited to be a part of the Millis Road family. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Concentration in Marketing. After being in college for a year and a half, I finally decided to follow my heart and become a teacher. I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Greensboro College in 2008.

This web site will keep you informed of all the exciting things we have going on in our classroom. My goal for your child is to help him/her reach their full potential in all areas.  I hope to build their confidence and inspire them to try new things without fear of failure through a positive classroom environment.  We all are special and unique and can be successful if we believe in ourselves!! 

I have a love and passion for children. I love to see children set out to achieve a particular goal, whether it is to spell a word correctly, solve a problem, write a story, ace a test, or whatever they are striving to do, and master that goal. I love seeing children succeed in whatever it is that they are putting their all into, and if I can be a part of that success it makes me feel good.
