Occupational Prep IV is reading informational articles on resumes. Students are completing career assessments and career explorations and adding information to their portfolios electronically.  We are also practicing oral presentations of the first two sections of the career portfolio presentation. ALL STUDENTS ARE TO LIST 4 RESUMES WITH CONTACT INFORMATION AS HOMEWORK BY APRIL 2.

Occupational English III is currently finishing the book Freak the Mighty.  We  have weekly spelling/vocabulary quizzes (usually on Fridays).  Spelling words are introduced on Monday, and a dictation test is given on Friday. 

Occupational English I  is working on nonfiction. The class is performing very well on weekly curriculum based measures (pre-test on Mondays and post-test on Fridays) for grammar, vocabulary, and reading skills.
