Welcome to the 2nd Semester of the 2012-2013 school year. We move at a very fast pace in Electronics and when one starts to fall behind it is very difficult to catch them back up in class. I do not hold any penalty for late work nor do I refuse any retesting for poor grades. The chapter test are limited to 80% for retest due to the fact that I will assist them (individual tutoring) for the test before school any day at TWA or after school anyday at HPC, please coordinate with me prior so I will be aware. Most of my grades boil down to participation, all labs are curved as the program is not very user friendly, Quizzes are open notebook(their own notebook only), and test can be redone with assistance from the teacher!?!? Daily participation is graded on what they are doing in class and generally limited to a minimum of a 60. As we enter into the 2nd semester I am looking forward to working with new and previous students to get the basic knowledge and certifications in electronics. Parents please select the attachment below to review the introduction and safety agreements we need to know. Your student will be going over this information in class in great detail and will bring home a signature sheet for you and them to sign. We have hazardous stuff that we will work with and on, but all is minimal, regardless I want to be up front and frank about everything that deals with the safety and well being of your child.
