![]() My name is Danielle Brozzi. I am a native French speaker from Geneva (Nyon) Switzerland. French is my first language, Italian is my second, German the third, English the fourth and I understand Spanish. I moved to the United States in 2002. This is my first year at Southern Guilford High School, subbing for Mrs Gomez the first semester until Thankgiving. Second semester (2013) working 100% In 2010/2012 I taught at Northwest Middle: all French levels: 6,7 and 8 and absolutely loved it! In 2009/2010 I taught at Northern Guilford High School: French I and II and I enjoyed it a lot! In 2008/2009 long term subbing High Point High School Central:French I to IB program, very inspiring! The above picture is from my home town in Switzerland: Nyon. This city is situated about 20 miles away from Geneva on the beautiful <Leman> lake. This city has a stunning view on the <Mont Blanc> the highest mountain in the French Alps. I visited many countries around the world, sometimes for few weeks, sometimes for a long stay from 3 to 6 months: Europe: Italy-France-Belgium-Monaco-Germany-England-Danemark-Spain-Portugal-Canary Islands - Africa: Senegal-Mali Caribbean Isles: La Martinique - South America: Brasil Asia: South of India - Indonesia - Australia: north. I am curious, interested and always amazed by such variety of : mind sets, cultural differencies, foods, celebrations and believes. I have a Bachelor in Art - ceramic section. I absolutely love art in general and enjoy teaching my native language/culture. I try to connect student with their responsabilities/actions leading to success. I am looking for setting some structure into student's learning process. Most of all I try to make students embrace critical thinking in order to become independant learners which is a key and a great preparation for College and life! STUDENTS! on this website you want to find and click on useful links 1) HIGHLY RECOMMANDED: Quizlet: play and learn your vocab online (flashcards/games/self TESTs) 2) RECOMMANDED: French pronunciation with VOKIS for vocab chapter review click on each specific level/chapter section. Play the Voki (avatar),click on the arrow, read vocab at the same time, listen and repeat after each words to master the correct FRENCH ;) pronunciation. Good tool to use before <une dictee> or each chapter Test for the listening part.
