Welcome to my Peck Web Page!

  My name is John Robinson, and I am very excited to be working with the students and teachers of Peck Elementary.

As an AG teacher, I will be at Peck all day every Tuesday throughout the year.

I retired from the full-time classroom last December after almost thirteen years teaching 4th and 5th graders at Peeler Open Elementary right down Florida Street.  That followed thirteen years--a lucky number for me--teaching 5th grade AG in Winston-Salem. My career in the classroom goes back further, but I'm not sure I want to count that high.

  My wife, Betsi, is an editor for the Greensboro News and Record. We have three children--Emily, 23 years old and working in Colorado for Americorps; Caroline, 20 and a junior at Carolina; and Michael, 16, a junior at the North Carolina School of Science and Math.

I am a big sports fan and pull for the Detroit Tigers--my home state once upon a time--the Atlanta Braves, the Carolina Panthers, and the Duke Blue Devils.
