Ms. Amundson is the Library Information Specialist at Vandalia Elementary School. She has been an educator for 26 years. She likes life on the edge . . . literally! Her favorite pastime is hiking each summer in the canyons of the American Southwest. She also enjoys visiting her childhood home at the North Carolina coast. She's an avid reader, jumping between biographies, history, mysteries, and literary fiction. She loves rock music, especially the English band Muse. Ms. Amundson has Masters degrees in English, in Library Science, and in Counseling. Her undergraduate degrees are in English and Religious Studies. She is certified to teach Advanced Learners K-12, Language Arts 6-8, English 9-12, Social Studies 6-8, and Science 6-8 in addition to holding Media and Counseling certifications.
