Big News for NEMS BAND

Congratulations to the NEMS 8th grade band for getting the first "EXCELLENT" rating at contest in many years!!!  Way to go!!!

Mr. Henry would like to thank all t hose who have donated money or instruments to the NEMS band program so far.  Keep the donations coming!!!!!

Mr. Henry and NEMS band students would like to thank Gloria Wilkins of Pocomoke City, MD for her generous donation.  Mrs. Wilkins went way beyond the call for a donation.  With her financial contributiton, Mr. Henry was able to purchase 1 piccolo, 3 flutes, 1 clarinet, 2 trumpets, 2 alto saxophones, and 1 trombone.  On behalf of NEMS band students, Thank you so much Mrs. Wilkins!

If you would like to donate an instrument, in any condition, to our growing band program, please contact Mr. Henry at NEMS at 336-375-2525.  To those of you who have donated, THANKS!

Any Band directors using my pep band arrangements, please shoot me an email and let me know which songs you are currently using and if there are any other songs you would like to see.

Beginning students should look at the "new to band?" link on the left side of the screen to get crucial information.

Any student wishing to join pep band this year should start looking over the songs NOW!!!!!  I will add some more songs soon! To listen, download, and print the pep band music you will need to go to www.finalemusic.com and download (for Free) the finale "reader." Then come back to the NEMSBAND site and download the parts for your instrument under the "downloads" link.
