Fuel Up to Play 60

We are excited to promote a new program at NGMS this year called “Fuel Up To Play 60”.  It is a program that Mr. McHenry has been promoting and it focuses on over-all health by eating well and staying active.  We are trying to launch this program by November 30th and it will run every Wednesday from 4-5:30 pm with students participating with various activities / sports each week (similar to our Purple Pac program, but now open to all grade levels).  We have several volunteers in our community, that have already offered their expertise in our program (Parisi Speed school, Full Time Fitness, etc.).  We will be doing 2 sessions and giving up to 50 students, each session,  the opportunity to participate with this program.  Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity for your student!

Please see the attached information sheet and permission forms.  If your child would like to participate, please complete the forms and send them in to Coach McHenry by November 21st.  Session one will run from Nov. 30th through Feb. 29th and Session two will run from March 7th through May 30th.  Since we are limiting the program to the first 50 students of all grade levels, it is important to send in forms now for either session.  It is also important that the student be committed to the program, the entire session.

We are also in need of parent volunteers to help with this program.  We will have leaders running the program, but many hands are needed to make it a success.  Please consider volunteering even 1 session...thanks!

Due to space constraints at NGMS, especially during the winter months, Summerfield Elementary will be used as a satellite location at times.  However, all afternoon pick up will remain at NGMS.

Please read over all information attached.  If you have any questions or would like to volunteer your time, please contact Debbie Sivret at 908-0933 or mdkmjsivret@earthlink.net
