Welcome to Mrs. Murphy's tenth grade Civics and Economics class. During this class we will be exploring American government and it's Economic System. We will discuss a variety of subjects, including the US. Constitution, the 3 branches of government, citizenship, and the economy. My hope is that when students complete this class they will leave educated, well rounded citizens who understand their civic duties and responsibilities. This is a vary hands on class where a lot of discussion takes place. Respect is a big issue since some of what we discuss is controversial. I try to teach my students how to think not what to think.
