Meredith Uber and Melissa Lewkowicz invite your child to join us at Social Graces, a four-week class for 3rd-5th graders, where he or she will learn appropriate behavior for all situations. Alongside his or her peers, your child will learn etiquette in a way that is relevant and fun. Learning will take place in a small group setting, creating a welcoming environment while allowing your little lady or gentleman to receive personal attention. Hello Everyone We'd like to recognize the students that participated in the National PTA Reflections Program and represented Jones with fantastic, original artwork! All participants received Jones Jaguar cups filled with goodies, along with $10 Gift Cards to Barnes and Noble. Certificates will be presented to each of the participants at the end of the school year and they will have an end of the year party. (Yes! It's a big deal!) Teacher Scholarship ProgramNCPTA is pleased to continue its Teacher Scholarship Program!Four scholarships in the amount of $500 will be awarded to teachers seeking a master's degree in education. To be eligible for the North Carolina PTA Teacher Scholarship, a teacher must:
The teacher may be working on the degree on either a full-time or part-time basis. The scholarship can be used to cover tuition costs and other student fees, purchase of books, or other direct costs related to the degree program. The money will be placed into an account at the college/university from which these expenses can be paid. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must apply online by May 25. In your online application you will need to provide the following:
